Lake Worth liaison builds trust between city's immigrants, law officers

LAKE WORTH — Benito Gaspar has been working for nearly two years to build trust between the city's immigrants and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
By educating immigrants about crime prevention and encouraging them to report crimes, the sheriff's office hopes to establish lines of communication in sections of Lake Worth that will lead to the arrests of more criminals.
