Obama Admin. Quietly Passes New Immigration Rule

A new immigration plan by President Barack Obama has quietly been approved by the Dept. of Homeland Security.

The proposal would allow illegal immigrants who have family here in the U.S. to apply for citizenship without having to return to their homeland for an extended stay.
The Obama administration argues this new rule would strengthen families by not separating them for lengthy periods to obtain citizenship.
