Post-conventions: Immigration platforms offer two different paths
The conventions are now over and both parties have rolled out two very different immigration platforms.
One calls for “humane procedures” that would encourage undocumented immigrants to return to their native countries. Another calls for an immigration reform that would integrate undocumented immigrants into society.
